Butterworth Marine joins Solis Marine Consultants’ global Alliance Network

London UK:  Butterworth Marine has joined Solis Marine’s global network of Alliance partners established to enhance the Group’s reach and range of expert consultancy, offshore engineering and marine warranty surveying services.

Solis Marine is a multi-disciplinary consultancy offering salvage and wreck removal services, Special Casualty Representatives, naval architectural consultancy, expert witness services, marine engineering services and consultancy, marine warranty surveys, incident reconstruction using AIS data and technical due diligence services.

In addition to working for owners, maritime lawyers and leading marine insurers the company also has an established track record in the offshore renewables and clean energy sectors, working with sister company Solis Marine Engineering. The Group operates from offices in London, Falmouth, Singapore, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Rotterdam.

Based in the UK, Butterworth Marine provides technical services with a particular focus on legal disputes and litigation, casualty investigations, technical appraisals, salvage services and surveys.

While the two businesses remain fully independent, under the terms of the Alliance Butterworth Marine will support Solis Marine by providing additional capability both within the UK and globally as the Group continues with its plans for growth.

In return, Solis Marine will support Butterworth Marine by making available its full range of services on a global basis. A key area for co-operation between the two businesses within the UK will be the region around the Humber.
