Free webinar to examine latest offshore wind developments

Humber Marine & Renewables is joining forces with its new international partner to deliver a free online market intelligence webinar for its members.

The collaboration with Norwegian Offshore Wind will look at the latest developments in the UK offshore wind market, taking in the upcoming Allocation Round 8 (AR8).

Taking place at 10am on Thursday, September 3, the hour-long briefing examines procurement opportunities, major grid investment and the next wave of UK offshore wind projects beginning to take shape. It will also provide an overview of the 1.5GW Morgan Offshore Wind Farm retender, currently being accelerated by The Crown Estate.

To complement the session, Humber Marine & Renewables will provide a short Humber market update, highlighting the current UK offshore wind pipeline and upcoming procurement activity and the opportunities Humber businesses should be preparing for over the next 12 to 18 months.

As reported, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Humber Marine and Renewables and Norwegian Offshore Wind at RenewableUK’s Global Offshore Wind event in June.
