Energy Voice docking in the Humber as spotlight falls on the next industrial revolution
The huge strides the Humber has made in the energy transition, and the major role still to play, will be the focus of a special event next month.
Energy Voice is to record its Energy Voice Live podcast in Hull on October 8, an evening packed with promise and a major opportunity to underline the incredible credentials on and offshore.
The leading sector news platform has been a strong ally for Humber Marine & Renewables, covering our work and sharing it with the wider industry, and now it is taking up residence at Hull Truck Theatre.
The organisation looks forward to welcoming the platform to the city as it shines a spotlight on all that has been achieved and what is still to come for this region – with hydrogen and carbon capture and storage set to build on our world-leading foundations in offshore wind.
Free, and open to all, with registration required, the evening starts at 6pm on Wednesday, October 8, with the podcast recording taking place live, as the question – The Next Industrial Revolution: Does the Humber have all the ingredients to meet the 2050 clean energy challenge? – is posed.
It promises to be an excellent relaxed networking / social opportunity alongside industry peers, with Energy Voice editor Mark Selby welcoming Scott McGinigal, chief executive of renewable energy equipment manufacturer Nexos, National Gas’ supply chain and commercial director, Dan McAteer, and Hazel Paige, new energies director at Centrica to give their take.
