Trade Mission to the Port of Esbjerg Denmark 19-21 April 2023

Please find details of a Trade Mission to Esbjerg Denmark organised through Good Travel Management with support from Humber Marine and Renewables and Hull City Council.
The Mission will take place between 19-21 April and will focus on hub activities connected to renewables including offshore wind, ports and logistics and future hydrogen production.
The cost for the mission is £590 +VAT per subsidised participant including flights, 2 nights accommodation, mission programme and dinner with the Port of Esbjerg management. Flights are direct from Humberside to Esbjerg on Eastern Airways recently launched service.
Exploring the opportunities will be the most important aspects of the visit. Participating delegates will be introduced to potential partners within the offshore wind service hub. The mission will be a mix of site visits and direct dialogue on business operations. Participation is open to all businesses operating in the renewable energy and ports sectors, irrespective of size or location.
All major companies in the offshore wind industry are present at the port. The offshore wind experience dates back to 2000 when the first major commercial offshore wind farm was installed and the companies located there create the opportunity for companies from the renewable energy and ports sectors to partner with. The port can handle ten installation projects simultaneously, holds the O & M base for four offshore wind farms, and has one million m2 dedicated area for offshore wind.
Visiting the market provides opportunities for businesses accepted on the mission to participate in a pre-arranged programme of activities in order to better understand the opportunities for collaboration and find business
