Maersk Training secures long-term TMS global partnership with Sapura Drilling

Maersk Training is delighted to announce that we have secured a long-term TMS global partnership  with Sapura Drilling, a major player in global upstream Drilling, to be their strategic and primary training provider. The training partnership will be focused on providing a high level of competence and compliance training via face-to-face, digital, and onboard training delivery, all enabled by our Training Management Services (TMS) team.

Speaking on behalf of Sapura Drilling, Dale Hart, Head of HR, said: “Training and development is an important aspect of our operations to create and maintain a high-performing workforce. It is critical to ensure our team can continue to deliver on our promises to clients and live up to our core values. I believe our partnership with Maersk Training will help us to achieve these objectives.”  Global Head of Commercial for Simulation, Tom Milburn, shared: “We are delighted that we have secured this contract with Sapura and aim to repay their show of faith in Maersk Training by delivering a high level of service that will support Sapura in driving their safety and operational performance, whilst simultaneously reducing their total cost of training.”

Newly appointed Global Head of Onboard Training, Sara Verghese, added: “We have been working with Sapura Drilling for several years now delivering onboard training, and we are thrilled that this collaboration is now formalised in a way that supports our customer and consolidates the booking  process.”
