Firstly, Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful break over the festive season.
Thank you for your long-standing support of the Offshore Wind Connections (OWC) that has taken place every Spring for over a decade and more recently the Humber Renewables Awards and Dinner (HRA). The events continue to go from strength to strength, bringing together companies which support in making the industry thrive.
OWC2026 will take place on 29–30 April 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Hull. The conference will once again welcome expert speakers and provide insightful debate on the issues that matter most to the industry. Tickets and exhibition stands are always in high demand, so we encourage interested parties to visit www.offshorewindconnections.co.uk to secure your place early and book online now.
Following the conference, on the evening of 30 April, proceedings will conclude with the Humber Renewables Awards 2026 – an evening of recognition and celebration for excellence across the sector. Nominations will open next week (further comms will be sent) so please do start to think about the individuals, teams, or organisations you would like to nominate and see recognised at this prestigious event.
You may be aware, as I plan for my phased retirement, last year was my last as organiser of OWC and the HRA and Dinner and as such a new team will be taking the events forward in 2026. I am therefore, pleased to let you know that Iconic Media Group, who have a wealth of experience in delivering events across the length and breadth of the country have agreed to come on board and manage both events. They will be working closely with both established and new key partners to make the events bigger than ever before so if you are interested in getting involved and helping set the agenda for 2026 now is the time to reach out!
